CrossFit gives you an amazing base level of ability in all physical aspects of fitness and sets you up to be ready for anything.
CrossFit can look scary. Especially if your exposure is limited to a few videos on the internet of the CrossFit Games. But rest assured at CrossFit 2010 we want to make your experience as smooth as possible.
All workout trainings are conducted in a coached environment where proper technique is highly emphasised. We structure our programming to cater to the absolute beginner through to the seasoned pro and each session focuses on a strength or skill development component and the Work Out of the Day (WOD).
This WOD consists of a constantly changing combination of weight lifting, basic gymnastics and metabolic conditioning exercises. All scaled to your personal level of fitness and accounting for any injury or mobility limitations.
We track your progress using the Beyond the Whiteboard software to monitor your progress and ensure you are always hitting your peak intensity.
Education is a big focus at CrossFit 2010 and to that end we offer regular advanced skills workshops to refine and learn new skills and an Olympic lifting program to slowly introduce these advanced movements into your repertoire. We also organise seminars on nutrition, mobility and those less tangible elements of health.
Community is our other big focus at Crossfit 2010 gym. Once a month or more we gather our members together and get out of the box. Maybe it’s touch footie and a bbq at the beach, stand up paddle boarding or rock climbing. Whatever it is we love to bring our people together, apply our fitness to a new challenge and have a good laugh.
